       A well known contractor built this house and the garage/workshop across the street.  Everything in the house and garage were totally new in the past 20 years.  Everything is top quality:
          - Look at the hardwood floors all made with short pieces of wood of different shades...just beautiful!
          - Try any door in the house; they are all perfectly square and open or close with a "click".
          - Look at the French doors going out onto the two balconies...two sets for each balconey with leaded glass designs in the doors.
          - Every room has a fan for better comfort and air circulation, even the 2 outside balconies have fans.  (It helps keep the bugs away in the Summer, I am told.
          - 2 High efficiency furnaces, for the house.  One with its own thermostat for the downstairs and another for the upstairs with the thermostat in the Master Bedroom.  Big Hot Water Heater and Water Softener too.
          - All of the windows are thermopanes with builtin screens.
          - To keep the temperature down in the Summer, there are two attic fans that have therostat controls for normal operation but there are switches in the upper hallway so that they can be turned on to run constantly if needed.  Being on a lake with these fans, Air Conditioning has never been required, but it would not cost much to add it to the high efficiency furnesses, if you felt it was needed.
    • Upstairs....  is up the stairway out of the front foyer...
      • Bedroom #1, is straight ahead when you get to the top of the stairs and is about 14' x 15'..  It has two (2) large closets with sliding doors, a shelf that is wired for TV and phones and two windows, one overlooking the road.
      • A Linen Closet, is to the left just before you go into bedroom #1 and it is cedar lined.
      • Bedroom #2, is to the left down the hall, after you leave bedroom #1. It is about the same size, also with 2 large closets with sliding doors, a TV shelf prewired for phone and tv. This bedroom also has a door leading to the Master Bath, but it can be locked.
      • Bedroom #3, is unique because it has a stairway to another room above it (which for discussion we will call Bedroom #4).  Bedroom #3 is again about the same size as the other 2 bedrooms but the stairway takes some of its space.  It also has the 2 large closets that have sliding doors and a shelf for TV prewired for the tv and the phone.
      • Bedroom #4, is smaller than the bedroom below because of the stairway and the ceiling is low but it has 2 large closets.  Great for childrens playroom.  We added an insulated door to give easy access from this room to the attic.
      • Bathroom #2, has 2 sinks and a tub/shower combination with light colored marble floors, toilet, and a laundry shute to the laundry room...something you don't find in every house.  It also has a cupboard for towels and other supplies.
      • Bedroom #5, the Master Bedroom, is located at the end of the hall and has a combination lock on the door for privacy.  It is a large room about 20' x 20' with 2 sets of french doors with leaded glass that lead out to a private upstairs balconey, totally roofed, overlooking the lake.  There is a Sitting Room about 9' x 15' just off the Master Bedroom with a cathedral ceiling containing 3 skylight windows plus several other windows that can be opened, overlooking the lake.  There is a 9' x 10' walkin closet for the Master Bedroom with clothing racks and shelves above all around the room.  The Master Bathroom (Bathroom #3) can be accessed thru a door from the walkin closet or from the sitting room.  It has a tub/shower, the toilet has its own little room and there are 2 sinks in a separate room area.


      There is a large Attic Area with decking that runs from the front to the back of the house.

      There are 2 fans that discharge hot air in the Summer via outlets located on the lakeside and frontside of the 3 floor loft room. The fans have switches in the 2nd floor hall, one position makes them run constantly and the other position runs them via a thermostatic control located in the attic.           If we did that, then probably the front yard (street side) of the house and/or the side of the house, would become a parking area.  We had an Architect make proposals for building either a car port, or a single story garage or a two story garage attached to the side of the house.
